Sitting here in Salem, VA, in between two of their Trucks. XXX and YYY. XXX been here 1.5 years and says he'll never go to another Company as long as Tribe stays open. Truck YYY been with them for 3 months and absolutely loves them too. They both claim to run between 2500 and 3000+ miles even week. .40 cpm to start (low) and a 1500 sign on bonus.
They have both had family emergencies and both said Tribe offered to store their Trucks where they were and fly them home ASAP. They are both treated and talked to very nice there.
I was looking at Tribe a couple months ago and decided against them after reading reviews on here. I was told by both Drivers next to me that if you aren't getting at least an average of 2500 miles a week, then you just don't want to run. Both are watching their Company paid Direct TV as I write this.
Pay is on the low side, but I mainly Drive because I like it and it keeps me busy. I have no real use for much money from a job, I have plenty coming in already every month. But I am Human and will take anything given to me too.
I may just give them a look see?

You do that and tell us how it goes

So you're going to make a career move based on the advice of 2 drivers you met at a truckstop?!?! I'm sorry but company paid Direct TV is a major red flag....I'd want to be racking up miles all week and watching my 60" big screen at home on the weekend. I'd tell Tribe to give that dish to another driver...gimmie more .cpm or turn their stripped-down fleet trucks up instead.

Then you missed the whole point of my Posts. There would be a slew of other reasons I would use, if I decided to leave my current place and go to another Company, any Company. I merely was pointing out what I was told by two Drivers in person, compared to what I read on here by a few disgruntled ex employees.
But as I also stated before, money from a job means nothing to me as I could retire right now at 44. I did so for 8 months last year's and got bored. I drive because I like the life style. Trucking is my poo and giggles career. I made my money before taking up this easy foot loose and free gig.
Trucking is but a vacation gig for me, not a real job. Any Idiot can drive a Truck and takes no job skills at all. 5 years now and a perfect record. I'm just goofing off and having fun at this point in my life. You oughta try it?
Also, I don't consider 70mph set speed stripped down.truckerman75103 Thanks this. -
Any idiot can drive a truck down the freeway. It's when it's winter and midnight and a two lane road with snow blowing everywhere and you're chained up that makes you a driverladr, Lonesome, Crusader66 and 1 other person Thank this.

UH OH! I sense something coming..........

If you say so. Not going to argue with you nor anyone on this. For me, Trucking is just a fun Hobby and the easiest job I'very ever had, Winter driving and all. To others, it's a challenge and a hardship. It's all in what one thinks is difficult compared to one's past.
I think it is relaxing, fun and a mindless job that merely keeps me moving around and entertained for now. When I get bored, I'll move on.
Be safe Driver. -
You just haven't done the right type of trucking. Anyone can run freeway.
