I suppose we were just expecting just that. Someone explaining a variation of the "zip tie removal" trick. But no.... you were just teasing us with some old school truck pic. PTSD kicking in now...

I just use my socket set and remove latch bolt . I have been paranoid about a couple loads and just had to check to make sure all was good .

Unless you have one of these type of handles

I have to see the lock, but it’s also possible to get this one done as well.
Preparation is key. -
Zoom in closer on the handle mechanism. I’ve looked at it every which way, doesn’t seem to be a way to do it.

I tried zooming it’s not clear.
But remember this, these guard shack guys sent the sharpest tool or if they are they aren’t going to look closely to a modified handle lock.
Every lock can be modified to fit your need. There is no lock safe or securement device that can’t be fixed, modified or outright broken into.Intothesunset and GlobalFM001 Thank this.
