    So do you think a guy with 1 year driving and no tanker experience, safe record and no tickets has a chance of getting hired on at Trimac in the Bay Area? They've been showing a position in Hayward CA for quite a while on their site.

    Probably, they have a new terminal manager there and I know she is looking for drivers. Great terminal by the way, great freight as well. All you do is drive a half mile to the the DOW plant and hook a pre loaded.

    Well good luck to you, Trimac can be hard to get on with but just keep trying. It's a confusing company, especially at first because it's a branch system but you get paid well so I guess it doesn't matter. Hayward really is an awesome branch full of great people. It's very small but it flows well and I have never had trouble parking there. Last time I was there I had a layover, no freight on New Years, and they just gave me the key to the company car and that was that.

    Other times I have been there, they will take you out to eat, or they might be cooking there. So if you get the job I think you will be happy. Just remember if you get to the interview part, look nice, speak well and sell yourself because the interview is where they decide.

    Well I hope I get that far then. My fear is that my job history isn't that great, as a younger person (22) I jumped around a bit after high school. If I can get to the interview I'll be happy, as in the past that seems to be my strong suit. Everything I've heard about the company in general has been extremely positive, it's great to hear that about Hayward specifically. Thanks again!
