trip pak question ?

    Just woundering , I didn't really know where to put this but anyhow . Do any of you guys use the android Trip Pak app. ?
    And if so do you have any problem with it ? Cause last night I got out of the receiver at like freakin 1130 paper work in hand and no truck stop for miles , so I used it. Now its like a 900 mile run so I don't want anything to go wrong with it ya know what I mean ... lol
    Any advice is much appreciated, thanks !!!!

    Yea well get this , so I called the other day and asked and the lady was like , umm huhhh ummm well idk I don't think it will work ( hahahaha really ) so I tried it with a little 167mile run and guess what it was on my check ..
    I was kinda woundering about like glitches and stuff like that oh and get this I sent that one in thursday morning and it still went on that weeks check so the midnight rule might not apply if you use the app, cause no one has to pick it up it goes right to trip pak via data conection. We will see I scanned some others to , I am gonna check maybe tomorrow and see if they showed up .

    Yeah. I use the scanner in my truck. I've sCanned stuff in Tuesday morning and had it be on my check the next day. I might have to try the app. Taking pics is easier than breaking out the scanner.

    We don't use trippak but transflo has an app that works better than faxing. Same principle

    Hahah , so I talked to payroll today , and was told I can't use , but twards the end of the conversation the lady said oh yea and if u continue to do it that way we will charge u 20 bucks .. wtf ..
    I was like hold on , you just told me it don't work , so what is it ? It does or it don't ? Lol. What the hell

    Saying you can’t use it is not the same thing as saying it doesn’t work. By your own account they never said it doesn’t work.

    I have no idea why they don’t want you using it. Perhaps they receive the information in a format that requires extra work to enter it into their system when you use it thus the $20 charge.

    I think you can download the trip pak in cab program on your laptop and just take
    pictures of everything instead of using a scanner. I've had to take pictures of bills that I've dropped at a drop yard because I didn't want to take a copy of the bills. So when I scanned the envelope I just hit the button that said add image. Then I just browsed the files till I saw it. I don't see why that wouldn't work for everything. I'd ask them if you can just add images to the trip pak program. And then if they say it doesn't work. Ask them if they get a kick back when you buy the $100 scanner. Ain't no reason a scanner should cost 100 bucks.
