    If your going to assume any type of position of authority over truck drivers, you need to have a modicum of common sense. And that includes being smart enough to know you are simply NOT going to make the same kind of time on eighteen wheels as on four

    Unfortunately though, it doesn't seem to work that way. Trucking companies hire kids right out of college, with a degree, but no work experience, no life experience, and quite often with a huge ego, but no common sense.
    I'm not putting down college graduates. Not at all. I'm putting down the people who hire these kids that don't have the experience to wipe their butts, let alone dispatch trucks.
