#### man that’s rough. I was afraid of that as well, had to install quarter fenders.
If you need help on figuring out the wiring issue I might be able to help.

Ouch! Same thing happened to me six month ago. Fortunately with a TK each one of those housing panels are individually replaceable. The tire also took out the intake air filter housing on mine. Had to go to three different TK dealers in three different cities to collect all the parts, but it all went back together easily.
FYI These guys ship same day if you want to get some extras or replace some buggered torx heads.

So tonight my APU fired up fine then cut off within a couple minutes. Then restarted but sounded like it was struggling to get going almost like a fuel issue.
So I left it running went in got a shower/eat and when I came back it was off and seemed like it didn’t run long. I couldn’t get the control panel to do anything, I didn’t reset it at the unit as I got it all strapped up from the blowout.
I remember reading somewhere these are bad for fuel filter/pump issues…can anyone confirm or any advice as to what I should look for this weekend when I tear it apart?D.Tibbitt Thanks this. -
How cold was it last night? You're sure it didn't gel up? It was 8 degrees here in Wyoming.
The TK fuel pumps do go out. Mine unit was stuttering and I thought it was the fuel filter. After i changed the filter it would crank, but wouldn't fire up at all. I loosened the fuel line at the filter housing and nothing was coming out. So... fuel pump. It's an easy job but it's pretty tight and you'll get some skint knuckles. I did it in the parking lot of the Pilot at Klamouth Falls.
When you buy the new pump it will come with only one of those little brass compression fittings. You will actually need three, one for the inlet, one for the outlet, and one where the fuel line connects to the fuel filter. So buy extras when you buy the pump. You might also want to grab a couple of feet of fuel line, just in case. I had to take the fuel line loose from the filter housing to get enough slack to remove the pump.
Also, you will have to remove the on/off switch in order to get to the fuel pump. I had read that those go bad. Mine was loose and wiggled in its housing, so I just replaced it at the same time as the pump.Last edited: Nov 11, 2022
Phoenix Heavy Haul and D.Tibbitt Thank this. -
The inlet screen for the fuel pump get plugged on those eventually. If you hear the fuel pump clicking crack the bleed nut on the injection pump and see any fuel pressure is there. If you change the fuel pump then do the screen too.The reset switch is probably tripped because it was running rough and the oil pressure switch closed on it.Phoenix Heavy Haul and D.Tibbitt Thank this.
