Of course the fastest way to solve it take it to someone with a computer ....it will tell you why it shuts down
Not really takes 2 seconds to turn a fan and if you ve ever pulled wrenches you would realize that electronic diagnose and codes doesn't always "tell you why it shut down"
Any ideas for a legacy model Tripac APU that is throwing the eng code after replacing the a/c compressor? It was slinging belts off so I stopped using it until having the compressor replaced at a shop here close to me. Now, it will turn on but throws the eng code after a couple of minutes.
I had trouble with the same system on my 1st truck. It would run but shut off in the middle of the night. Or not come on and I'd manually start it. Took it to thermo king twice. $1800&$1200. Kept malfunctioning. Finally got a year older truck with exact same unit. It's been flawless, as well as the truck.
Is yours on the power to the apu at the battery box connected to a single battery or positive on one battery and negative at the other end of the battery series?
Where can this diagram be found? I don't have a cover on my fuse panel. Starting to think the PCF may be why mine isn't staying running, because the PCF isn't coming on.
