Triple Eight Transport

Triple Eight seems to have grown a lot in Western Canada these days. looking to move to the lower mainland in BC and am considering them, any thoughts?

 

Its all shady #### and exploiting student visa newcomers. Most of their senior office staff have moved to IHaul, while IHaul is nearly bankrupt and doing tons of shady #### also. Key West, XTL are the best options, if you want to do Van/Reefer in BC.

 

Saw 2 Triple Eight trucks in Nipigon last night. First time I have seen them this far east...

 

Used to see 25 or so weekly out east I think their Ontario record was bad or they got undercut

 

I’ve seen Triple 8 for years here in NW Ontario,,usually driving like idiots or in the ditch. No doubt a Driver Inc company

 

Does anyone knows if Triple Eight brother company called Highway King Transport is going bankrupt ?

 

Haven’t heard that but it’s possible.

I’ve read up on them on another forum, apparently they have a long history of not paying invoices and driver wages.

Sure it sounds like they’re having financial problems but ripping people off seems to be standard business practice for those people.

 

Yes, for about 2 years now. Like Lightspeed and Deva Jatt, they somehow hold on, until the bank pulls the plug.
