I have a customer truck in my shop, 2ws cat. We have the injector trim numbers, but we can only change number 1, 5, and 6. For the others, it is giving us an out of range issue, tried using the exact same numbers as the others and getting the same result, tried using known hot numbers and same result. Also can't change a bunch of other settings, such as idle timer, idle timer shutdown RPM, FLS/FTS, Jake on cruise increment (but can change the start of jaking over cruise). It's a very odd issue, can change half the parameters, but not others. Never seen this before.

Seen that a quite a few times, ECM very well may be on its way out. Sometimes blanking/re-flashing them will bring them back, sometimes not.
Many times a internal ECM battery going bad can cause it, in that case the issue is typically seen after having the truck batteries disconnected for a bit.

This makes sense, already purchased replacement ecm. Truck sat for 8 years dead in the woods.
