Wester Express were one of the ones that called for flatbed but they went to the bottom of the list as soon as they said they would Greyhound me to TN from TX for orientation. USExpress and Averitt are starting me at .40 cpm for regional with weekly home time which is a plus with my kids and wife. My other option is hauling airplane parts with SPD with better pay but home time is lacking for my desire. Again I want to thank everyone for their replies.
Truck amenities?

If you don't have your heart set on a specific trailer, look around for local stuff. There's still some oil field work I believe in Texas. Plus local gas and fuel delivery, LTL stuff, and local delivery.
Don't get the OTR blinders on. Knock on doors and sell the heck out of yourself. Ypu might be surprised what opportunities you can find. -
Averitt has apus and 1500 watt inverters

Does the cruise control work, does the air conditioning work, does the radio work, will it pass dot, decent seat. In that order.

Wonder how some of today's truck drivers would have dealt with crawling across the dog house to get to the sleeper?tolson and chopper103in Thank this.

Don't know about that. When it comes to sleepers the more room the better. The one thing I'd like to add to my list is being able to stand up in sleeper. I am 602 and can't stand up in a flat top. I drove one for awhile and was really glad when I got a mid rise.

Averitt doesn't run junk on the road, all sleepers are all stand up condosnovacain Thanks this.
