    As someone who has lived in a ghetto neighborhood myself (Gary/Hammond,Indiana),I have to say that there have been issues with some folks trying to get loans just to rehabilitate their homes because of discrimination (if there wasn’t there wouldn’t be such a thing as anti-discrimination laws or the FCRA in the first place). And mind you,where I lived the area had a long standing history of “white flight”.
