Check with your local credit union. Mine didn't bat an eye when I applied for my loan. But, then again, I didn't buy a new truck. If you >know< the repair side, find a good pre-def truck. Then you won't be hogtied by a company lease.
-
That was my next option iv been looking for an older kenworth or freightliner just something to get started
-
At this point id drive an old cabover if i could find a place that will let u run them
-
Pretty sure you can run whatever the hell you want at Mercer Transportation as long as you can meet their requirements for scaling and pass their stringent DOT test.
-
Lots of companies will let you run pretty much anything that will pass a DOT inspection. Mercer and LandStar come to mind. Don't think either care about age or style.Orangees Thanks this.

Really hm now i need to find a good cabover
-
Why not just stay a company driver and save up money, work on your credit, etc.
DoubleO7 Thanks this. -
I'd like to own my truck not be owned by a company
-
I wouldn't use my house as leverage to buy a truck, if you can't make it in this business for whatever reason you stand to loose your house as well.
TruckDuo Thanks this.
