    Hey everyone,

In the market for a truck GPS and was wondering what everyone prefers. Give me some pros/cons of whichever ones.

    Thanks for the info!

$99.00 tomtom from wally world if you can find one cheaper go for it. Use common sense, your cell phone, and map to supplement what the gps sAys. Don't spend $500 on a gps that's crazy

Does the tomtom work? I got one when I first moved down here for my car and works for me but will it work for truckin? I was going to just rely on the good old atlas but maybe I will bring it along too.

Just as RC said: GPS is a great tool but you still have to think...:biggrin_2555:
Just another tool dumbing down America. Some people follow gps directions unquestionably.
Best true story i have heard. A dispatcher had a driver call in that he was lost and needed directions. Dispatcher asked where driver was. Driver answered that he didnt know, gps quit working.:biggrin_25513:
