Mildly entertaining fiction with more than a few passages that stretch past the point of credulity. I've had a 30+ year career designing, producing, and delivering retail products. Part of our specification package for any product includes carton markings. Not once in 30 years did we ever have a final destination written on a carton...

... ever.

That is the biggest paragraph I've ever seen.

 

All shipments under 5000 lbs are supposed to be marked on all cartons.

They'd have to look at the Ip adress block assigned to him by his ISP's DHCP server, they'd be about anywhere between 5 hours and 5 days too late to specifically identify him. They'd know a general area he was in, but not the actual location, assuming he was smart enough to simply change his IP, this is also assuming his ISP hasn't been given an order to keep a static IP in order to keep tabs on him.

 

Wrong. You're also assuming he isn't already using a static ip address.

 

I am not going to call BS. Whether it a true or a fantasy it's quite entertaining and makes you think twice about situations like this.

My personal take on the Original Posting is that it is something that I would not be interested in doing. What profit a man if he gains the whole world but loses his soul?

You say you put a gun in a drivers face and forced him into the sleeper. Were you prepared to shoot the driver? You only hijacked the big companies, but did you give a thought about the driver? At the very least the man probably got fired.
