Rates are going up even by DAT accounts.

Because all of you are virus profiteering.

 

If people just got into the correct mindset, we could push rates way up. Our bottom all miles acceptable avg is 2.30. If we go below that it’s considered a failure. I’ve told my guys I’d like to move that to 3/mi ASAP. That is where it should be anyway. If everyone did this we all would be much better off.

 

I agree. Agents will call with a 3ish number per mile and act like it's the end all to be all.

And I say the exact same thing you just wrote, that's where it should at least be to begin with.

 

Could also be cause March is almost in the mirror.

Feb 14 to Mar 31 always sucks.
