For dry van Feb is completely dead in the West every year, except last two Covid years. Chinese New Year is tough

 

You can at least get a dry van going east in Phoenix.
There is a legit ZERO flatbed loads.

Look it up if that seems too crazy to believe.

 

We've only taken one load out of Phoenix. Every other time we'd have to deadhead to L.A., the border, or southern Utah. Phoenix is the place you can get a good rate to from just about anywhere, because you might not get anything coming out.

 

And then out those other areas you go from zero loads to maybe a fuel money load.

How much is your time worth? Do people not value how much time they spend sitting around and waiting? I’m doing a 34 here, and like most times I’m here the shower list stays at or above 20 people all day long. And you can walk across the street to Danny’s and for $14 you have no wait and get a better and cleaner shower. I just can’t believe that people will wait all day for a shower here that’s barely been wiped down or cleaned.

 

10 idle pumps? I bet there's trucks at those pumps sitting blocking the fuel island and some waiting for a shower on the fuel island
