Updated picture with my three axle, my previous truck was one of our two axles. We should be getting our new 2018s this spring.

36" was common for a single box,but my new 77 Eagle had a 34".International was always a little different. No heat or air in there, freeze yur'### off in the winter.Summer time just line the truck up with the crossbreeze, and kick both the big sleeper doors open.Whenever I woke up,my pillow would be laying on the ground most times.
When you stop for the night, drag all your junk out of the sleeper, and put it up front.Climb through the opening and sleep.Reverse procedure in the AM.Not a lot of room in there.Roomy cab, though.

Looking at the back window on my 900A, I really don't think the average driver nowadays would be able to squeeze through it into the sleeper. Heck I'm a shorter dude and I think I'd have trouble fitting lol.

45 years of trucking,I stayed about the same. When I was drafted as a kid the govt. said I was 6'1,about 225, I'm fatter now though. Was a little tougher coming out, of the sleeper than going in.Just did what you had to do back then.Spent 10 years cross country sleeping in that sob, before I built my walk through glider kit.
