Nice looking rigs!
You should sell them to meWoodys Thanks this. -
Doubt you could afford them. I've been in this rodeo for almost 30 years and STILL haven't taken that quantum leap!
Agree, though. Sweet rides, guys. Love the 'hoods.Mike2633, booley, mile marker 27 and 2 others Thank this. -
To be honest, they didn’t look like that when I got them, and I prolly got them cheaper than you could imagine. I put alot of time in, tinkering with the mechanical and cosmetic side of them. There’s alot of folks who drive a truck for a living who wouldn’t understand that that kinda appreciation for the older rigs. Some get it, most don’t.tommymonza, 7-UP, rank and 4 others Thank this.

Once a more than common sight in the 70’s - mid 80’s but now a rarity. Was originally a John Deere equipment hauler for a dealership in Arkansas. Gonna stretch it 3’ and touch the doors up a tad, to match the other faded paint. Had folks ask me what color you gonna paint it and I kinda smile and say, “ I’m not. Just gonna clear over what’s there”. That trucks got a story. Like I said, some get it, some don’t.
260REM, Pacemaker334, booley and 12 others Thank this. -
I get it, I do. Almost bought the 'ole bossmans 359 conventional (hood) 1984. Wouldn't sell it without the other fleet (of five....) Still wondering if I messed up, tbh.

Talking my language.....
Had mine towed in here about 300+ miles, bought it by looking at one picture on the inter web.
Nothing special, just a old W900L Glider from 1994. Built a mechanical Cummins for it since it had a blown Big Cam in it.
But your right, many don’t have a clue even when they’re looking at it. But not everyone has the ability to do mechanical work either, and there’s nothing wrong with that, we’re all different in certain ways.
Nice looking trucks, thanks for sharing....booley, Isafarmboy, jamespmack and 11 others Thank this.
