    I remember the 80's blowing it in a vertical 80ft stave . Dint have inoculates as i remember and if ya lifted the unloader until used , leveled the top threw plastic over it no loss . Back when ya fed straight corn silage twice a day .

    I have 2 stave silos at the farm, don’t use them though.

    Yea everything has changed , altho if ya got beef it would still be viable i rekon , just trip unloader turn on auger , turn off when silage reaches the end . They dont need all the protein dairy needs .

    My last ride as a owner/op this would have been 2000 or 2001. That wagon liked to put me in the poor house. It was a money pit that never ended.

    And the green and white Ford was my second rig


    Loved the grey cabover
    The air ride drive axles and set back steer axle made it ride like a Buick

    got a pic around somewhere of my first one , might be a day or two to find it

    it was a cabover with leaf springs on the drives and it was a very rough ride .
