Truck Pix... post yours

Nothing real recent, here is a scattering from the last couple years. It’s nothing fancy, but it’s dependable, paid for, and mine. Paint is getting pretty tired on it, been thinking about getting it repainted, and it needs a new hood, (old one has a hole in front corner from back before I bought it), I just run it hard for about 3 months of the year, might haul 20-30 loads spread out over the other 9 so haven’t decided it’s worth it yet… I don’t pull reefer at all anymore

Beats me too! Apparently, he thought I was due a level 1. I think it was the ratty wagon I was pulling that caught his attention.

 

She’s purty, big fan. Where’s the visor from?
I had one from raneys, I put it on the truck but hated it from day 1. Poorly designed, no brackets matched the cab, no centre support so it was slammed against the windshield once I hit top gear. And just looks like a carport on the side of a house. I’m sure I could fit a smart car on the cowl and protect it from the elements with the visor.

That visor was manufactured by a madman in a garage with limited resources. It was originally designed for a Constellation I think, and it was cut in half and rebolted together, and he just bent the ends til they met the cab roof. There may or may not be silicone involved as well… Ilooked around for other options, but not very many options available for those old Stars. Probably end up getting a custom one eventually

 

There really isn’t, I haven’t found much of anything heritage cab specific regards to aftermarket

@Son’s Hero What wheelbase is yours? Looks to be longer than my 244, or is that deceiving me where I still have the step box behind the tanks?
