Well my other truck at a year old and 110,000 miles has spent the last 2 weeks in electrical purgatory, so here’s the solution……go try this new one on for size and hope for the best. So far 2 weeks in I haven’t had a day that my ELD has worked properly, I’ve had to tighten almost every interior bolt holding things together, they didn’t set the overspeed alarm from the factory so I had to go to the dealer to have that rectified, but other than that all is good. I remember the days when new trucks were exciting, I dread the phone call to get one anymore. IMG_1733.jpeg

No better way to end the day than pulling right into a bay and being able to load all 4 at once. In and out in 7 minutes.

I wish I would’ve kept my old one.

But that’s only postponing the inevitable.

In the 80s getting a new truck was exciting, but most guys still experienced a break-in period in which it took 20k miles or so to get all the bugs worked out and feel comfortable. Maybe the difference is that getting the bugs worked out didn't require a laptop and a degree from MIT.

Picked up my new truck from Reliance/Cozad in Stockton CA. Beautiful ride back home to Vegas. Probably my last truck I’ll get for myself. Now it’s off to get lettered and get matching stripes put on the boxes.
