Worked on this crate until a little after midnight, no dice. Tried for a little while again this morning, still no luck. The old truck I used to drive for Dad was sitting at the truck shop two minutes away from my house getting a new air conditioner, so I ran up there and snitched it off the lot first thing this morning. Used it on the step all day, Pulled a tractor up in front of mine to drag it out from under the trailer So I could leave this evening, and just on a spur of the moment, reached in and hit the key. Truck popped right off. I am almost 2 hours from the house right now, getting ready to load up with bacons on the hoof, truck is running beautiful. Turbo boosting right. Got to be a voltage issue. I think I’m gonna replace all the cables that run up from the batteries… at this point I’m a parts hanger. Oh, and I bought a replacement truck to run until this one is fixed properly just this afternoon. Should’ve saved my dough if it’s gonna heal itself

 

Haven't made it to western Canada yet only eastern Canada. Need to see it before my time on the planet is done.

Nothing fancy, ‘05 Peterbilt 378, C13 with a 10 speed. Single breather It’s a day cab, so I don’t think I’d wanna have it on the livestock trailer long-term, but I thought I might really like it for hauling grain this fall. Can get a better payload in it. I wanted a backup truck for when this one acts up, dads is usually available if I want it, but I’d rather run my own stuff
