Truck purchase

He should buy your truck. That is a true work horse. Id like to have it just to park on the farm.

 

All right, we're getting somewhere. Beyond the $30K you are budgeting for the truck, how much will you have in reserve for maintenance and operations?

If you haven't done so you should check out the threads by Double Yellow and by Blairandgretchen in the owner/operator forum. Each of them started with substantial money in reserve, one leased on with Landstar and the other got his own authority. Read through the threads to get a handle on how quickly money can flow out and how to focus on staying profitable.

 

So you have 30k to buy a truck? Do you have money set aside for maintenance etc.?

 

You obviously haven't been in business long. You should know by now that these trucks run on hopes and dreams lol
