we all have bad days I have only had one problem with any terminal and that is Cartersville they tend to be rude no matter what the situation Richfield used to be the same way but they have seemed to have a much better attitude latly I think it has to do with who is running the shop and actually the last time or 2 I was in Cartersville they seemed to have a better tude

 

I wouldn't worry about it, this is what drivers do.......LOL

 

Not the drivers boomer, the staff is what i meant. If i get to cartersville is where i will be.

 

Unforrtunately, the dispatchers sometimes give what they have been getting from other drivers. The old straw that breaks the camels back. One disgruntled, disrespectful driver ruins it for a guy who is asking for something as simple as correct load info. We all have bad days. Out of nowhere today I got a message from my dispatcher thanking me for training good students who have become successful assets to the company. I was relatively floored because it came out of nowhere, I sent him a message explaining we were trying to get my student a restart and would be at our delivery around lunchtime tomorrow (a 24 hr appointment, but its always good to be there asap). I was pleasantly surprised by his candor. I've been on several dispatchers boards, shuffled to regional, otr, heavy haul, then back OTR, different dispatchers for the divisions. When I came back OTR, 3 yrs ago, Marco asked who I wanted (I had Jim P., Jeff Millis before) I said I got along with both he asked if I wanted to be one of his permanent drivers, I said only if u can work me, he laughed and its been pretty good! Now I have had some rather snide remarks from some otherr departments in BRF, (Maintenance, personnel), but nothing unremediable. My 2 cents.
