Well i was thinking of doing a custom Freightliner and add a lift axel to it for heavier loads. But is it smart to get a raised roof sleeper if you know that your going to get box trailer loads or a mid roof/flattop sleeper for flat-deck and tankers can someone educate me on this desision

i have raised roof pulling flatbed simply becuase i want the extra space. that being said a mid roof would be better for aero. The best thing is to match the truck height to the height of the loads you haul most. To me having more spac is more important though and this i bought a raised roof.

IMO, match the truck to the trailer/load, and the cab/sleeper to you. Like Richter said, having the space out weighed the other benefits. As much time as you spend in the truck, if you are not happy, it will cost you way more than fuel.

Im fine with my 72 aerodyne sleeper. I would like to have studio sleeper.

Most 72" aero flat sleepers have more storage space than a 72" aerodyne. Been there - done it. I am talking KW. I would take an aero flat over an aerodyne any day.

still I like the way it looks like.
