    You can be on duty 24/7/365 if you want to. You just cannot DRIVE a CMV after the 14 hour limit.

    No idea why he did what he did.

    Also, I have no idea how coming out of the sleeper in the front seat of a PARKED CMV would put you on-duty. If the truck is parked you can be off-duty in, on, under, on top of your truck.

    As long as you stay above line 3, you can be line 1 or 2 back and forth every 15 minutes and it will not affect your 10 hour break.

    The only thing it might mess up if you leave the sleeper is the 8 hr sleeper portion of a split break. You would have to do 10 hours.

    Oh, I did call the US marshall's and they told me that one someone acts like a douche to tell em to get bent .

    Oh and was I ######## at all ???????????? NO ! I WASNT .

    Gotcha . It was all explained to me a bit different.

    At least I know the real answer now for future.

    interrupting your 10 hour break is not against any law. It just screws up your whole next day, since the on duty time screws up our break, and you have to restart your break, and do at least 8 hours to do a split...

    right, police have to be invited.

    pulling onto said property, and disturbing drivers for the sake of revenue. isn't invited. it's abuse of power.

    and what say you all from other states. is it legal to receive tickets on private property?????
