If it makes you feel better to b**** to some guy in an office who has bigger things to deal with than someone's nose being put out of joint because they guy in front of him pulled forward to clear the fuel island and went in to take a wizz, grab a pop and get his fuel ticket, then snap away with that camera. And what do you intend to do about o/o's who do the same thing? Nothing because you're too timid to speak with your own mouth? I'm just a little broad and I have no problem speaking up for myself.

Coffee: since I don't adulterate my coffee with additives other than a little water to take the edge off it sometimes, I'm not who you're speaking to here. But I know how much a good tasting cup o' joe means to me. When someone ahead of me is perfecting their coffee and taking their time about it, I simply say, "excuse me" as I point toward the coffee dispenser. I have never, ever had someone stare me down and refuse to scooch over a little. If you "hip check" someone like me, you are very likely to get that hot cup of coffee thrown in your face. I look pretty sturdy and usually am, but "hip checks" can be very painful to me due to my arthritis. You shouldn't be touching anyone without their permission.

Your last tip: excellent advice and thank you for bringing it up. I would add, please pick your towels up off the floor when you're done. Hang them on the sink or whatever. Those cleaning folks have to deal with our nasty messes, so let's try to make their jobs easier too. And absolutely, leave a tip, even if it's just a couple of bucks. That two bucks you leave could be the soda pop the kid gets rewarded with for pulling good grades in school.

Don't be so afraid to talk to people. I believe most of our problems amongst ourselves in this country today are caused by fear of communication. There is nothing wrong with politely requesting what you need. I will respond much quicker and easier to, "Would you please pull forward a little so I can get by you." than waiting for my Safety guy to tell me what you need. And you'll get out of there quicker than stewing in your truck as you snap pictures and get angrier. Nobody can read your mind.

When I am traveling, I make coffee in the car for three reasons:

I don't want to stop at gas stations or convenience stores,
I know the coffee is fresh and hasn't been sitting for an hour
    I am a really cheap bas***d

I guess I've should have been more detailed and specific in my post. It's not a issue of being afraid to talk to people. It's more of an issue of folks who seem to have the "Scr*w everyone else" attitude, I'll move when I get good and ready. If I politely say excuse me, please, etc. and you just glare at me and continue like I never said anything, then as far as I'm concerned it's game on. Not that I'm a Billy Bad ### or anything, but sometimes that's the only thing some folks seem to understand

I guess you can either confront the other driver directly, or report them.

One way might land you in a hospital, while the other might land that driver out of a job.

One way is stupid, one way is smart.
