Truck Stop Etiquette (How to behave yourself at the truck stop)

Heck I saw 1 POOR EXAMPLE for a truck driver , take his morning WHIZ off the step of his truck he was 50 feet from the entrance to the TS, walk through it on his way into the truckstop then head into the restroom to WASH UP before ordering his breakfast.

 

All I can think to say is

EWWWW!!!!

 

Don't know if anyone has said this one yet....

Thou shall not drop thy trailer so they can park up next to the door in the bobtail parking. If your that fat and lazy you probably need the exercise.

 

Probably that 300 lb Elvis with Elvis sideburns, shades and a hat two sizes two small, I seen yesterday strutting like John Travolata across the parking lot. He thought he was hot stuff.

 

Don't differentiate between truck stops and your mother's home.

Act accordingly in both.

Really pretty simple.

 

Truck drivers are quite the interesting bunch! Now if only the nasty habits were cleaned up.....

I guess my only complaint are those that idle for no apparent reason in perfect temperatures. For goodness sake, your ears suffered over 11 hours worth of engine noise. Why not try to sleep when it's quiet? And for you Mr. Bad Reefer Engine guy: I wont complain about your rattly reefer or your loud idling truck. I'll just play that song called Sandstorm by Darude as loud as possible on the radio with the windows down. Then maybe you'll get the hint.

 

yes I read it. And just for the record, I do not sleep in the nude in my truck. And no, I do not close my curtains. I don't because I don't need no obstructions in my way when I'm trying to get the number of that truck who just hit me & is attempting to run.

A little early to making New Years Resolutions.... But I do appreciate the fact you realize you have a problem & plan to correct it.

 

Thou shall use proper dining etiquette e.g. chewing with mouth closed, do not expel gas (from ether end) while in the dining room, use a napkin when necessary. try to keep as much food on your plate as possible. Do not use language that would poorly influence a child or insult the ears of my wife.

 

When my wife was riding along with me......she used to give "Buffalo reports" on the CB.


The reports were...............a public service announcement........


For all the lady truck drivers and of course the "Good Buddies"..........


Not too many guys came back on one of those........a LOT of the gals did.
