Since I'm an Android user, that pilot/flying j app is a no since its only for iPhones but I did find an app called pilot flying j finder which appears to be good.

Btw, that cat scale app is bad-arse, thanks.

I agree the paperback truckstop guides fall apart fast and easy. On my second one here although I have only bought one (former co-driver left one in this truck).

The best APP for Android users is the Truckster App (made by Leigh Gagnon). It is around $2.99 in the app store but for a short time they made it free recently and thats when I got it. So keep your eyes peeled and maybe they will make it free again. As DJ posted above it is a great app that gives all truckstops, walmarts, weigh stations, as well as a section for Local to see whats near around you.

Love's app is good to but I mainly use it just to look at my reward card info.

If you got an Adroind, then try the TripPak one. It lists alot of mom and pops that don't have Catscales.

Heck, the Pocket Truck Stop Guide I have has lasted a couple of years, and it's one my hubby left with me. I use it almost as much as he uses the one he has in the truck too. He does know of a few that aren't listed in there that he uses too.

My wife loved that #### thing! Well I did too!

Same thing used to happen, about a month after buying it, it starts to go to hell. I used to make covers for them and we kept it in a little hard shell binder. This used to keep it around a little longer.

I still have the first one I bought in 2007. It's not in great shape, but no pages have fallen out. I never had that problem with any of them I've bought. The covers get ratty because of the way I handle it, but I've never had to replace one more than once a year, and that is only because of changes in the truck stops.

All the major truckstops have apps now for the iphone, and if you have the google maps app. all you gotta do is type in truck stops in the search bar and it'll show all of them in your area and give you directions to it...
