There's a phone number on the crossing or on the control box next to the crossing. As soon as you are stuck,CALL IT!!!! There is also a crossing number for that crossing next to the phone number. The railroad will be able to stop the train BEFORE it gets to you once they know that you are stuck.
The Federal Railroad Administration also has a rail crossing location app that is useful. -
Everybody knows that that is a 'go faster' sign.Lepton1 Thanks this.

Different crossings. The original video took place in Locust Grove. The second video is in Acworth. In the first video the tractor ended up off the pavement at the grade crossing on the tracks.Johny41 Thanks this.

Looked at the location on google maps. Looks like he/she was trying to get off a road they shouldn't have been on in the first place.
Probably another case of turning a minor screw up into a major one.
Headless chicken syndrome strikes again.
mjd4277 Thanks this. -
In the first clip of the news video, right next to the stop sign,is a 'No Trucks' sign.

Fornal said there was only about a three-minute window from the time the truck became stuck to the moment of impact. The tractor-trailer was attempting to turn left from Jackson Street onto Ga. 42 when it got hung up on the tracks. A nearby Henry County HEAT unit officer called 911 to alert Henry County dispatch to the stranded vehicle.
Fornal said he had just advised dispatch to contact the railway and was arriving at the scene when the train came through.
Train slams into truck in Locust Grove, shuts down parts of Ga. 42 -
Should put another sign on it
Tractor trailers YOU WILL NOT MAKE IT
Sort of the same thing as the one... "if you hit this sign YOU WILL HIT THAT BRIDGE"
Sign gets hit. Bridge gets hit. Facepalm. -
there seems to be an abundance of drivers that dont habla.
