Oh....I'm sorry, I thought we were discussing the law here.

I wasn't talking about the way they do it at SWIFT, I was referring to how it's done in the real trucking industry!

    Ya see Dick?

That's why I said that it was legal but that it might be subject to your companies policy...(See the phrase "as long as your company allows it") Ya see Dick....That's what that means.

Oh and by the way Dick...In order to drive your truck for personal use it doesn't have to say "NOT FOR HIRE" on the side.

You're a real funny guy Dick!
Keep the humor comin'! 'Cause I like it!

I am a Swifty in Training so I am coming from the same place as DickJones. Wow... that sounds so wrong!!! Anyway, I appreciate the clarification on Law versus Swift Law. I only know what Swift has told me/ what Swift wants me to know. Good to know that down the road I could conceivably be on Line-1 while bob-tailing.

P.S.- I think you like saying Dick a little too much... lol

It's nice to see you've learned all that in 2 years with Swift. Maybe in another 36 you'll know as much as BW900

I'm still waitin' for you to be right Dick!
As soon as you are...I'll let you know!:biggrin_2559:

    What's a "super hobby trucker?"

He'll never learn another thing in his life....He already knows it all!

If WE'RE all lucky, And listen real hard....Maybe someday he'll share some of his vast wealth of knowledge from SWIFT school with us and then we can all be...That Good!:biggrin_2556:

    Did I say that Dick?????

According to your posted information You've been driving for 2 years I've only been a member here for 14 months so it would have been a little tough for me to tell you when you first started that you would "never make it 3 months"....So, You must be lyin' about me sayin' that or lyin' about how long you've been drivin or possibly you're just not very good with a calendar...Who knows?

Maybe, Just Maybe...You're wrong again Dick!:biggrin_2559:

    So Dick....Which is it?
