That's what I was thinking a lot of Pto time
-
I was thinking it was used as a tanker or dry bulk. Either that or the guy idles every night. Even with a lot of PTO time I think there was more idling than anything else.
Nope. 2 injectors, 1 turbo, 2 intake actuators and the wiring harness in the head. Only the valve covers have been opened up. -
55 000$ for a 9y old truck which is close to worn out.
Go for it.
I truly wish you good luck, you will need it. -
Was the frame sand blasted before painting ,Or did they just paint over the rust?
-
Mine must be broken then it says 1334679 on the clock
-
The truck is from the south... it wasn't much rust on the frame, it's in excellent shape... they did however paint over oil residue on the engine

I would look for a truck with a Cat certified platinum warranty. Even if a few bucks more, I know that truck looks cool. But ....

I have the option of adding that one for 4 yrs 1.2mil miles

NXS C-15's are a gamble. You either get a piece of junk, or a great motor. The one I drive for my company has run 1.5 million km's almost problem free (2006), but another one (the one in the truck before this one, a 2007) blew itself up a couple years ago (cracked the block).
At 650,000 miles and 30,000 hours, it's at most 100,000 miles away from rebuild time (that's a lot of hours). And for a CAT, that's $30,000 right there. Can you afford that?
I'd say go for something older that's already been rebuilt, or go for something newer with less miles.Jt20 Thanks this.
