Until we're not noticed any more. Wont last long. We went from "unskilled labor" to gold star on the forehead pretty fast, we'll disappear and be nuisances again. Sure would help our image if the megas folded.

Wow first time a president has even acknowledged us this way and people are already bashing ! I just don’t do it for the accolades for the pat on the back! I do it because I love it and it feeds my family and it made a lot of good friends over the years .keep on Truckin

 

On January 30th 2017 the Prez announced that for every new government regulation 2 would have to fall of the books. ELD's were mandated in Dec 2017, went into full effect Dec 2019. Did anybody see 2 regulations fall off the truckers backs? Anybody? Anybody? Bueller? Bueller?

These photo opps and false promises are just part of the game. Nothing ever really comes from them. It's not just him, it's the entire system. Do what must be done to sit in the easy chair as long as possible. Like George Carlin said, "It's a big club, and you ain't in it"
