I already knew there would be some bogus story about why you're not an entitled, impatient snob like a doctor's appt or hospit trip. You could have easily lost more than 5-6 minutes in traffic, "heading to the hospital".

You share the streets with 8 million other people, get over it.

 

You have made the complaint to the only place there is. There is no central place in the whole of the USA for this type of complaint.
You are beating a dead horse if you think you will get satisfaction.

 

How many times you make a truck driver wait, in the dock if he is lucky, while you finish your phone conversation about the latest American Idol show? Or should he wait like a well trained dog for his master to even acknowledge his mere presence?

Look, we are just trying to do our jobs and we are going to annoy some people along the way. We can't keep everyone happy. You aren't any more or less important than anyone else. We don't want to annoy you, you weren't singled out, it was just your day. If you knew all of the inconviences a truck driver faces in his day to day work maybe you'd relax over a few minutes and make his day a little easier.

It's people like you who drivers put on their list of reasons not to go to NYC and in turn the customers pay a very high premium to have their goods delivered there. So, you're welcome for your expensive products, and thank you for being such a ##### so that this driver joins the army who refuse to enter nyc, and in turn the people that are still willing to go there ratchet their rates just a little bit higher.
