    Yes and no! You have the right to leave when you please but it is not protected by a law; but there are laws that allow trucks making deliveries to park in such a way that most other vehicles would be ticketed. You have no legal recourse; relax, get over it.

    I guess this thread is of bigger concern than your supposed kid at the hospital. Maybe go there and try to sue a doctor for making you wait. Or sue the city when there isn't somewhere to park your car.

    I wonder if you have asked the guy nicely, he would try to help, but, I have a feeling, driving in NY, he probably lost all the good feelings towards impatient 4 wheelers long time ago.
