I’ve been using Trucker Path. For $99 a year they have truck GPS plus you get truck stop parking history and prediction. It’s an app and I believe has 7 free trial. I think you also pay by the month. So you could test it out more before buying a1 year plan. It uses Google maps as background so you can have satellite view if you want to see pickup or delivery or truck stop or rest area parking or anything. it also will show you all the truck stop along your route, plus you get parking history and predictions. The bast part is, it has truck entrance to most pickup and delivery. So the routing is to the truck entrance. I use it on the company tablet that has unlimited data. The downside is it doesn’t really have live traffic backup warnings. they have other higher price options they get expensive
I'd have to recommend Copilot. The one thing I can think of that they changed is the address search. They also gave a setting to revert to how it was so it was inconsequential. It's worked great for me for years. You download the maps for Canada/US and you're off to the races. Every now and then they'll update so you have to download 2.5GB again. It's been fairly accurate, and you can report inaccuracies like ramp changes, or improper restrictions. Only issue I have with it is it waffles a bit on ETA. I'm LTL and use it to gauge travel times down to 15 minute increments. Just keep in mind that it adds a bit for ETA and you're golden for even tight schedules.
I found Hammer was more difficult than I expected when adding stops to a trip. I would try and add a truck stop between my Origin and Destination and sometimes could not find the truck stop or had to type in the exact street address I looked up from another source. Maybe I just didn't try using Hammer for long enough to get comfortable using it.
I spent $400 on a garmin DEZL and it sucks. It takes you down every non-truck road it can find. Dont waste your money on one.
