GPS. just like an atlas is merely a tool. An atlas won't get you into a customer's location unless you happen to be lucky enough that said customer's location just happens to be in one of the cities on the inset AND is on one of the roads shown on said inset. Just like customer or company provided directions, GPS's can be wrong. I have the big screen Cobra GPS (I wouldn't recommend it) and it USUALLY got me to where I needed to be. I wouldn't recommend it for hard ware issues it had, losing GPS signal at the worst times, shutting itself off for no apparent reason, again at the worst times, etc. But when it stayed on and held signal, it worked about as good as my wife's Rand 720 for accuracy. It seems to me that the more technologically advanced we become the dumber we become in the common sense department. Use the technology available but don't rely solely upon it. I used to look at the atlas, route myself, google map and earth the location and then look at where the GPS was sending me and base my routing and directions upon that. To add to our fun and drive our GPS's crazy, some of the locations we have to go to are in fact on weight/length restricted streets, been in that situation more than once
