I would also recommend that you look into the past threads about everything and anything.
Myself, I think that it is important that new drivers look at this career as a brotherhood, like it used to be. Do things like flash your markers to say thank you and move to the right (if and when it is safe) when you see a faster truck approaching from behind. Hopefully, if you are willing to lend a helping hand, someone will do the same for you. We need to get back to a time where truckers stick together and extend more courtesies to one another. Look for some threads on the way it used to be.
This site is like a massive research library for trucking. You'll find answers to questions you would never think to ask. You will learn things that you never knew existed. Some guys are crybabies and some tell tall tales. You'll read stuff that will make you laugh your ### off! This business is what YOU make it to be.
