After a publicity-grabbing convoy to the state Capitol and an impromptu meeting with Hillary Clinton on Monday, Mark Kirsch is planning his next move.

An independent truck driver from Myerstown, Kirsch is speaking to organizers in other states about a possible drive to Washington, D.C., to ask for congressional assistance in helping truck drivers and others deal with high oil prices.

We got the ball rolling, and were gonna continue, he said yesterday.
Kirsch and six other drivers will meet with state Sen. Mike Folmer on Saturday morning before heading to a rally at the Gables truck stop off Exit 77 of I-81 at 2 p.m.

Prior to Saturday, Kirsch will speak with truckers from South Carolina, New Jersey and Maine who want to help form a protest drive to Washington this month.
