Trucker protest October 3-8, Washington D.C.

All workers in all industries have been getting screwed, that is all but the fast food loosers, entitled little brats that think they deserve something for nothing. Sadly they seem to be getting it.

They have no union, if I owned that company I would send them out on their collective #####. Skilled fry cook lol.

 

When I was 22, in 2002, I worked at KFC. After they offered to send me for training to be a shift leader, and found out I'd be making a whopping $8.50/hr, I felt offended and angry. So I went out and got my CDL and haven't looked back. I learned a skill, something in demand, made more than I ever did at the time, and left those crap jobs behind.

A man's got to do what a man's got to do, and sitting on his whiny ##* complaining about it isn't going to help his situation. It's cowardice to sit there and demand to get paid the same as people who are twice as skilled. Who can have any kind of self respect with that mentality? I used to think like that. But now that I went out and did it, and took my career to heights that very few achieve, I learned to think differently.

 

Agreed I see these morons and the first thing I think..... get off your duff and shut your mouth, the transportation industry is hirring. Plenty of variety of jobs likely something that will suit anyone. As for me I drive dump truck, company has tractor trailers too. Maybe I'll drive one of them too

 

This is a hood rat.

 

That's what most want, ...the easy route... few want to get their hands dirty anymore.

 

If you have not been following the Black and Blue Truckers had enough Rally heres a update. Many shipping companies have also shut down for week. There are meetings that have been set up to Meet with officials to discuss everything from hours of service to ELD. This was not put together over night but over the past four years.
Truckers and supporters are showing up daily.
We took the week off to show our support. No we can't really afford it But if it makes a Difference then it's worth it.
Crying about all the regs is going nowhere.
Maybe meeting with officials in Mass will get somewhere.
This is Not a protest but a peaceful rally and meeting.

 

They posted a picture on FB, like 5 drivers showed up.

 

Wrong there have well over three hundred. Watch the videos updates. There are more than one location. They have over a thousand folks there are various spots.

 

I've done absolutely nothing so far this week and will do my best to keep it up the next 3 days.

 

That is BS! They are up in the area by the hundreds! Things will begin tomorrow as most of them are still showing up.
Meetings tomorrow with the press,they have already done a couple.
Most are still staged in Hagerstown.

Drivers all over the country have shut down for the week and so have I!
