I have to laugh at all the ppl that instantly slow down when they see a cop, lol. I don't witness them weaving in and out of traffic here.As long as i'm not speeding,i'll continue to drive that speed even if it means passing a cop.

Hey Fatboy42, I think I got what you meant and what I was trying to get across. We don't know why the LEO was speeding, it very well could have been official business. I think it was wrong for this driver to assume the officer was in a hurry to get to Winchell's Donut Shop, and quite frankly, I'm surprised the officer was as cordial as he was. I'm sure there are officer's that would have run this guy in for interfering in police business. I don't think you have to defend your position, this truck driver was wrong.Fatboy42 and Skydivedavec Thank this.

My mom had one years ago that would slow down below and just as she started to pass would speed back up about the third she said screw it and added a few extra of course he pulled her over and she thats fine I will take thw ticket see ya in court you was toying with everyone and being a #### so we'll let the judge decide who was right and wrong when my lawer gets ahold of your cam footage case was dismissed.
I hate when your roll 70 in a 70 and every slows to 60 because a cop is in the middle had a few close ones as they slip over from hammer lane to the right and slow way down.(taking away my following distance)
Right is right wrong is wrong period I hold professionals to a higher standard truckers cops both to often am I let down though. -
Keep in mind that he's a law enforcement officer...it didn't say above the law enforcement...he still has to comply with the same laws as we do when driving down the hwy when just cruising...

The "Cell Phone" law does not apply to law enforcement. There is a special exemption in the law for them.

Already been posted earlier this week

Thanks for posting, I missed the earlier post. That guy, the driver, is nuts! This could have had a different outcome.

Driver did the right thing... What's so hard to understand...Derailed Thanks this.

He was ballzy & stupid. LEO's are exempt from cellphone laws & unless the driver has been trained in how to clock speed & can articulate it in court this could have ended badly for him.Wild Murphy and "semi" retired Thank this.
