If they run away, let them go. If they come at me, their last mistake

Buddy of mine had to shoot someone once that attempted to rob him at gun point. Dumb ### cop asked him why he shot him twice. He said "Because he fell down before I could get off a third one."

They can't sue you either. That's why you keep spare knives in the truck. I swear he was armed.

No debate for me. People are just to crazy now, and while I pray it never comes to it, my Kimber .45 is loaded with 230 grain Federal Hydro Shocks and I can empty a clip into an inch and a half at 7 yards in just under 9 seconds.

I might ask the cop why they always unload their whole weapon into the perp instead of only shooting twice.

As I had a neighbor who got shot from a stray bullet on the 4th one year.. I'm all for charging this trucker. there are very few reasons to shot in a city. Unless you know where the bullet will go pulling the trigger is endangering some innocent bystander. Don't get me wrong, I'm a Texan, so I'm not against protecting yourself, or even your property. If the criminal gets himself killed trying to take your stuff, well he should have gotten what he wanted from Amazon...Just be sure you know what is downrange, and never shoot up in the air.

Some states have a "castle doctrine". It might be a stretch to include a trailer of freight. But a good defense attorney should be able to get it included. Especially for an O/O.
The driver is till responsible for the freight until it is signed for as received in good condition. Therefor, its his property. To be defended as he sees fit.

Or like those poor newspaper delivery gals in California a few years ago. 47 bullet holes in the pickup and neither one of them hit.
