Don't forget the anti-depressants in case you can't cope with all the BS.

A screwdriver (the one that changes from flat head to Phillips.)
    A 3 lb hammer.
    Crescent wrench
A pocket knife (keep it on you at all time. And keep your blade sharp.)
A pen (companies give them away free. I clip one to the collar of my t shirt so I always have one.)
    2 pairs of gloves.
Cajones. Can't be a real Trucker without them.
A cool head. The cool head will prevail.

Thank you all! These are really good responses. Funny ones too!
What boots do all you real truckers favor? Cowboy, square toe, lace up, etc? I think you can get everything in steel toe now right? I threw away all my old military boots, most of which kind of sucked anyway.

Heh I went with the ones my company gave me. I just got a new issue of military boots and I don't have it in me to break them in again.

Any steel toe will work unless your company requires oil resistant soles. In that case, get those.

    Spyke and G13Tomcat Thank this.

Timberlands from Sears....less than $100. Unless you need the oil resistant; but I wear mine around asphalt... upload_2016-8-16_21-33-38.png _

....and they have the eye & hook dealies so you don't have to TOTALLY unlace them. That's my selling/buying point right there!

Zip ties. You'd be surprised what you can fix with a zip tie.
