I skipped ahead so some of this my be posted.
It depends on if you are a company driver, lease operator, or an owner operator.
As a company driver repairs are usually done with a cell phone. Trailer clean out, company pays.
Owner Operators need other tools. Most I am sure have been mentioned. The other day someone mentioned using a battery powered leaf blower to clean out the trailer. That was a great idea. It cost about $50 to washout a trailer at a lot of places. Sweeping is not something that I like doing but running a leaf blower, I can do that. I don't know who came up with the idea but thanks.Spyke Thanks this. -
- Zip ties
- Vice grips
- Flashlight
- Hammer and/or mini-sledge
- Crowbar
- Bolt cutters
- Sunglasses
- Entertainment (laptop, books, Kindle, tablet, whatever)
- Inverter, or whatever you need to charge your devices (12 volt charger)
- Talcum powder or something like Fresh Balls
- Laundry detergent / dryer sheets
- Back scratcher
- Toiletries / shower kit / duffel bag
- Tazer / knife / gun / pepper spray / brass knuckles
