You're traveling on a highway with solid double yellow lines that devide the 4 lanes. It's not a street, it has no median, and it's a US highway.

A school bus on the opposite side of the highway makes a complete stop and turns on their All Stop lights to pick up students. What do you do?

I know, at least in Ohio, opposing traffic doesn't stop in that situation.

I think I would have to agree with this one...

At first I was thinking the same as @Toothpick1 but I just don't think the school system would expect kids to cross four lanes of potential traffic.

I am probably wrong but I don't believe a stop is require... But that to may vary by State.

In NY, you stop. Even if it's on the opposite side of a divided highway. Another lesser-known caveat: you are not to resume motion until the school bus itself starts moving (or as directed by a police officer or the bus driver)...NOT when the lights go off. NYS VTL 1174.

Disclaimer: my wife is a school bus driver.

You would be required to stop. Only if the road had a dividing median would it not require a stop.
