While at the pump fillin' the tanks, I will clean the windshield, mirrors and lights. May even clean out the trash from the inside if it's still runnin'. When it's done I'll pull out and let the next guy get started.
Wish that were the case for everybody...no need to wash the truck down with windshield wash while your talkin' on the cell phone and ... well you get what I mean.

I'm an old timer, and have always cut my headlights OFF at night when someone clears me, but now I have a new truck that automatically turns the headlights back on after just 2 seconds! So if someone is looking in their mirrors at that exact time, no good!
So, I'll do it multiple times, and finally we connect (I can tell because that is exactly when they come back into the lane), and then half or more of the time, the drips won't even acknowledge my signal.
It sure ain't what it used to be out here.
DIESEL DOG Thanks this. -
After fueling pull up before you go inside to get your reciept...thats why most fuel islands are designed with enough room to pull forward.
If your going to go in and get something to eat at one of the fast food joints or do your grocery shopping at the C-store how about parking in a designated spot not on the fuel island.
If drivers are standing in line at the fuel island waiting to get there fuel/scale tickets and your going to cut through that line on your way through have the common courtesy to say "excuse me"
All of you "children" that want to play on the CB and burp, say things like "I aint got no panties on", or generally act like you have the maturity of a 10 year old just think how proud your family would be if they could see the level of your intelligence. -
Drivers should use the squeegee to clean ONLY the windshield and not the tires, headlights and everything else on the truck.
oh well Thanks this. -

It is important to keep all your lights clean. Especially this time of year,
-
+1 Clean headlights are important.
Allthough me being me, I prefer to just wet em down with the squeegee and then use a paper towel on em, even some windex if they are bad. -
I agree the headlights must be always clean. I hose them off or spray glass cleaner and wipe them off and use the fuel bay squeegee only on the windshield and windows. I saw a driver cleaning his filthy tires and the front of his truck with the squeegee. After that, I couldn't use it for it was oily, greasy...
