Truckers Path removed exit numbers

    They use Google maps for the display. You have to zoom way in, like can't see the whole exit ramp, to see the exit number. I generally figure it's the exit right next to the pin, the one with the big blue sign saying fuel, that's the exit I want.

    TankerP, your signature quote is great! I'm plowing my way through The Gulag Archipelago at the moment. It's a bit of a rough read given to subject matter. Glad to see that, it's good to know someone has considered such things.

    I use a Rand McNally TND 720 as an augmentation for the atlas, and though it's an annoying thing to have due to it being fairly unreliable at times, I can make it show me Walmarts and fuel prices (though not all truck stops will show up, or it shows gas stations that are irrelevant) and at least use it for some pre-planning if I'm headed to an unfamiliar area. The addresses are hit and miss if I ever try to type one in, so Google Maps on satellite view and street view helps iron out some things, like when the shipping department gives some sketchy directions.
