My guess is that the refineries are taking a loss on the gasoline for now. Gas will continue to slowly move up in price as it has been doing.

At some point the oil may level off. At this time gas prices will slightly out pace oil. Gas will stop at a level above it's normal profit point and stay there until they make up their loss.

Example: If gas is $1.50 for every $30.00 a barrel and oil is $120.00 a barrel gas would be $6.00 a gal. My thinking is that gas will be at about $.50 to $.75 above the $6.00, making it $6.50 to $6.75 until they make up there loss. This goes for any price that oil levels off at.

If these clowns think they have it bad now.

Just wait until we cut the "splash & dash" part out of their fuel supply. I'm tired of subsidizing the European bio diesel market.

WooHooo, instant $1 USD jump in price.

Why are these protest's not being covered in our news.

Because a relativley small group of coroprations own all the television networks. The coroprations do not want Americans to get this news because American's may act to.

That sounds way too far fetched for me!

Kinda like when I was hauling crude oil. Not a penny of the oil companies massive profits were trickling down to the guys making the money for them. I was paid by the load and had to run 3 loads a day. $180 a day no matter how long it took you to do it. If it took 12 hrs then it was $15 an hr, if it took 14 then it was $12.87.
