So the Tablet is from Canada and the Software is basically drawing on HERE (NavTeq) data.

I read the post of who you know i think. I was also chatting with the trucker and he wants to know if he can come back. That is what turned my interest towards this tablet.

The Tablet is made for the truckers of Canada and the USA. I believe the reason behind this is they truck in both usa and canada? Or maybe the company is just located up there and decided to stay home. Rand Mcnally also has maps of canada too right?

That is between the site owner and you.

Anybody ordering from the US would have to pay custom fees which would place the price up higher. This tablet also uses HERE (NavTeq) data for its maps. This is the same map data that other truck GPS use.

Yes the total it cost from the price of the Tablet($279) + shipping ($22) is still below what the RM720 is. This tablet loads up faster then the 720, does not freeze up like yours does, instant rerouting, boat loads of Trucking apps from google play and i can surf the internet, email, transflo and so on. Can yours do that?

    zoekatya Thanks this.

What kind of support will you get on the software for the truck side? I see the company is located in Hungary. I also see you have to pay for the maps. At the price listed I suspect they are for cars since the map data for trucks is a extra cost to get the extra data needed for truck routing.

You also have to pay for each map update as it shows for that single purchase only.

"Get the latest map to update your existing map or extend the coverage of your navigation device. This single time update entitles you to download and install the latest version of this map once."

TND 720 is listed at $299.99.

The lock up was on your 710 as you mentioned in other posts under your first ID. This was usually an power issue which was talked about quite a few times in the support thread.
