    Look close at the eyes there's a flag in each eye. Yes it's dons daughter and it was from when she was 15 or so. She's not dead she's in the Denver office. It's from a school play or something like that they are not american Indian at all.

    Yes. The problem I had there was you used that in a manner that read to me as roughly tantamount to the word "cracker" when used in that context.

    That's usually how that works.

    But it's one hell of a stretch in my view to describe portraying a native American female with blue eyes as "racist". Somebody pulled that one from the depths of their nether regions.

    Most of what you see and hear on the media about someone crying the blues about racism, gender queers and so on and so on are people that just want their 30 seconds of fame either on tv or some form of social media.

    And just what is wrong with the word "cracker?" Hell, I could not care any less about somebody referring to me with what some folks consider a "racial slur." Guess I'm just too dam old to care.
    Besides, I happen to LIKE crackers, particularly when served with a tasty soup!

    But, racism is racism regardless of whom it's directed at, and it has no place here.

    Navajo Express is 75 years old. In Ron Adams' book about Peterbilts from 1939 to 1980, he has a picture of a 1950 350 with the blue eyed Indian. If she was 15 when the picture was made, I doubt she is still working in the office! She would be between 81 and 90.

    What they are saying is that it is at least politically incorrect. LIke the old Hollywood white actors who put 'blackface' on was supposed to be funny turned out to be terrible.
